Distillate is what we import to help make our high quality HEMPLIFE CBD Range!
Exciting isn’t it?

What is it and where does it come from?

Distillation Process

After extraction, the ultrahigh-quality crude is sent through the custom-designed and fabricated short-path distillation system. This method enhances potency and clarity while producing a honey-coloured, broad-spectrum distillate.

THC Free

The broad-spectrum distillate is used for HEMPLIFE CBD as we can maintain high levels of CBD and retain the other minor cannabinoids that are desirable, this is called the entourage effect.

We wanted to ensure that the product is suitable for even the most sceptical customers where any concentration of THC is unacceptable.

To label a consumer product as “THC-free” while still offering the benefits of the entourage effect, it is necessary to use broad-spectrum distillate extract or a similar form of concentrate that retains minor cannabinoids while eliminating THC.

Extraction Processes

We extract cannabinoids from hemp using a proprietary cryogenic extraction process that allows us to specifically target only the valuable components of the hemp plant, while leaving behind the undesirable water-soluble elements.

Broad Spectrum

Broad-Spectrum Distillate (BSD) is a highly refined form of CBD concentrate that contains undetectable levels of THC. While CBD extract only needs to contain less than 0.2% THC to be compliant with UK Law, BSD extract is the result of a process that removes all traces of THC, whilst maintaining all the other beneficial Terpenes.

Rigorous Testing

Our growing partners based in the fertile farm country of central Oregon, test every product continuously throughout the production process. This begins with seeds from a reputable supplier, which are tested rigorously to ensure that they grow only the finest hemp.

After seed testing, quality control takes place in the field to ensure they are developing high levels of cannabinoids that are free of all contaminants, such as heavy metals and pesticides.

After harvesting, they test again to confirm the final cannabinoid levels and to again ensure that the material is contaminant-free. After extracting the cannabinoid oil from the flower using ultralow-temperature ethanol, they test the resultant oil before distilling it and testing it again before being dispatched to the UK to formulate our unique range of high-quality CBD products designed for the UK market.
